Tasting Notes

Our 2006 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a blend from three unique Napa Valley vineyards. We gently pressed the fruit from each vineyard, keeping the lots separate, and selected a yeast strain that preserved the characteristics of each. After fermentation, in stainless steel tanks, we determined what proportion of each vineyard to blend into this wine. In addition, a small portion of each vineyard was also oak barrel fermented to give the wine more richness on the palate.

The nose is aromatic and complex with hints of passion fruit, orange blossom, citrus and stone fruits. The finish is crisp with mouth-watering acidity and a long bright finish followed by tropical fruit, grapefruit and mineral flavors.
